Founded in 2003, Hemline is a certified women-owned creative marketing agency located in the South Main Arts District of Memphis, Tenn. We collaborate with clients representing companies and organizations of all industries and sizes, on all areas of marketing from strategic planning, branding, advertising and public relations.

We are looking for a dynamic Account Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing daily support to our account leads insuring everything runs smoothly for our clients, from daily communications, both virtually and in-person, to assigning the creative team tasks that keep projects moving that provide results and exceed expectations, on time, within budget, and everything in between. Understanding the clients’ overall business, goals, target audiences, brand standards and nuances about their offerings, is critical to help deliver the marketing solutions they desire. You are a good listener, take direction well, have an innate sense of urgency to get things done right the first time. You are proactive, organized, detail oriented.

To ensure success as a Hemliner, you'll need to be a doer who jumps in to help out others and exudes a can-do spirit to continue fueling our entrepreneurial, small-business, collaborative atmosphere. With a solution-based approach, you have the ability to handle any urgent need in a calm and timely manner, display exceptional communication skills and an acute understanding of brand management.

Account Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership in developing strategic plans, tactical recommendations and the creative brief.
  • Provide support to account lead in day-to-day client relationship and communication pertaining to existing projects.
  • Participate in both internal and client meetings and exhibit thorough note taking ability.
  • Clearly communicate client feedback to agency and deliver what is needed to fulfill the scope of work.
  • Document all direction in Teamwork, our project management software, with due dates.
  • Manage client status reports.
  • Maintain a positive attitude for your team and push yourself beyond the day-to-day.
  • Be committed to the highest standards for all of your work and recognize you play a vital role in advancing the agency.
  • Work as a liaison between Hemline leadership and freelance creative talent.
  • Complete daily time tracking.
Account Coordinator Requirements/Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an agency, marketing firm or in-house marketing department is preferred but recent college graduates with marketing, advertising or communications major or minor with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct through secondary research and analyze consumer and market trends.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure: multitasks, re-prioritizes and adheres to deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, good active listener, strong communicator
  • Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills while being an effectively follow instructions and processes.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-faced work environment.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and/or GoogleWorkspace
  • Have fun, enjoy life and be a part of the team!
