Serving as Ballet Memphis’ agency for a decade, stepping aside gracefully through a leadership transition, and four years later, receiving the call to come back. It’s this arc that says more about our relationship building than any campaign result could. Hemline has grown alongside Ballet Memphis as both strategic partner and full creative department, building awareness, driving ticket sales and growing donor support across diverse and demanding audiences. The centerpiece of our relationship: a comprehensive rebrand completed in concert with Ballet Memphis’ 30th anniversary. This milestone coincided with the Ballet’s move into a new building in one of the city’s most beloved entertainment districts, requiring careful, strategic public relations to bring the community along, manage sensitive local sentiment and control the announcement’s timing. Hemline led stakeholder research, built a new visual identity, logo, messaging framework and tagline, and managed the communications strategy across a variety of audiences.
